Moran Hires Mitchell Hall of Anthony

 

HAYS - Congressman Jerry Moran today announced that Mitchell Hall of Anthony has joined his staff. Hall will serve as a district representative in Moran's Hays office. Hall is a 2001 graduate of Chaparral High School.

 

"Mitchell represents the best of what Kansas has to offer," Moran said. "With his education and leadership experience, he will be an asset to my office, and I am pleased to have him serving the people of Kansas."

 

Hall is a 2005 graduate of Fort Hays State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in political science and a minor in agriculture. While at FHSU, he served two years as the student body president, worked for the Docking Institute of Public Affairs, chaired the student advisory committee to the Kansas Board of Regents and co-founded the FHSU Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. He was also on the Dean's honor roll and was involved in FHSU honorary clubs.

 

As a 2005 Kansas Farm Bureau Fellow, Hall spent one week in Moran's Washington, D.C., office. Prior to joining Moran's office, he worked as a graduate assistant at the Center for Civic Leadership at FHSU.

 

"I look forward to assisting Congressman Moran in serving the First District of Kansas," Hall said. "Our district is comprised of great people with a great congressman, and I am proud to join this team in order to represent Kansans."

 

Mitchell is the son of David and Mary Julana Hall of Anthony.
