Moran Announces Launch of New Website

Kansas Company Designs New Site

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Jerry Moran today announced the launch of his new website at www.jerrymoran.house.gov/.

"This website is designed to better serve Kansans and enhance communication between us," Moran said. "Kansans can learn about issues I focus on in Congress, how to receive assistance with federal government agencies, and read the latest Kansas and Washington, D.C., news."

Among many features, the new website focuses on:

  • Services: Moran is available to help Kansans interact with federal government agencies, provide information on visiting Washington, D.C., and help students receive a nomination to a U.S. Service Academy or apply for a Congressional internship.
  • About Jerry: Learn more about Congressman Moran, find out what committees he serves on in Congress, and view his photo album.
  • Newsroom: This section contains the latest news from Washington, D.C. and Kansas. Available here are news releases, "This Week in Congress" newsletter, speeches, audio clips, and Moran's biography and official photograph.
  • Issues: Find out more about the issues Moran focuses on in Congress, as well as access related resources and news. For example, the Agriculture page includes the daily commodity prices in Kansas.
  • Legislation: This section provides access to Moran's voting record and bills he has introduced, as well as providing access to current action on the floor of the U.S. House.
  • Kansas: This section has information about the Big First District and the State of Kansas, including links to all 69 counties and links to state government information.

Moran's website was designed by Kansas' Brush Art Corporation in Downs. The 32-person staff at this family-owned and operated company provided the artistic skills and creativity to make this site possible.

"We were proud to be selected to work on a project of this nature for Congressman Moran," said Tim Brush, President of Brush Art Corporation. "The simple-to-navigate website features a large amount of important information on key issues and will prove to be a valuable resource to Kansans."
