Moran Hires Alex Richard of Neodesha

 

NEODESHA - Congressman Jerry Moran today announced that Alex Richard of Neodesha has joined his staff. Richard will serve as legislative director in Moran's Washington, D.C., office.

 

"Alex is a great addition to my office and brings important experience with him from his previous position in a congressional office," Moran said. "As legislative director, he will evaluate legislation and work with Kansans to make sure our interests are represented in Washington, D.C."

 

Prior to joining Moran's office, Richard worked as a legislative assistant for Congressman Zach Wamp (TN-03). Richard is a 2001 graduate of the University of Kansas, where he received a bachelor's degree in political science. While at KU, he served as the president of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.

 

"I am honored that Congressman Moran has asked me to serve the First District," Richard said. "I look forward to working hard for the needs of Kansans."

 

As legislative director, Richard will oversee all legislative issues for Congressman Moran and the Big First District.

 

Alex is the son of Gilbert and Nancy Richard of Neodesha.
