Moran Hires Tyler Lund of Salina

SALINA - Congressman Jerry Moran today announced that Tyler Lund of Salina has joined his staff. Lund will serve as a staff assistant in Moran's Washington, D.C., office. This past fall, Lund served as an intern in Moran's Washington, D.C., office while participating in the American Studies Program sponsored by the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.

"I am happy to have Tyler return to my staff," Moran said. "Like all Kansans, Tyler has that common-sense quality that will help him serve the people of our state."

Lund is a 2002 graduate of Salina Central High School in Salina. He will graduate in May from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota. At Bethel University, Lund served as the 2004-2005 student body president and played on the rugby team.

"I am grateful for the opportunity to help Congressman Moran represent Kansans in Washington, D.C.," Lund said. "The way I see it, if I am not working in Kansas at least I can be working for Kansans."

As a staff assistant, Lund will work on a variety of legislative issues and administrative duties on behalf of Congressman Moran and the Big First District.

Tyler is the son of Eric and Cheri Lund of Salina.
