In order to protect the privacy of Kansans and all visitors to this web site, the following Privacy and Security Policy applies:

 

1.) No personal information will be collected about you when you visit this web site unless you choose to provide that information when sending Congressman Moran a message.

 

2.) Information you provide will not be sold, traded or otherwise conveyed for financial gain to any group or individual outside Congressman Moran's office.

 

3.) Information you send to Congressman Moran will not be shared with any group or individual outside Congressman Moran's office except:

 

a. For purposes of providing you with the assistance or information you have requested (e.g., information may be shared with a relevant federal agency in order to obtain an answer to your question), unless you expressly request otherwise.

 

b. For purposes of assisting you with case work, in which case Congressman Moran's office will not share personal information unless you complete the Personal Authorization Form.

 

c. If disclosure is required by law or court order, is requested by appropriate law enforcement authority, or is believed in good faith to be necessary or advisable for the protection of personal or public safety, or for other good and sufficient reasons.

 

4.) End user data is collected for site management purposes - to learn about the areas of the site that are of the most and least interest, the number of visitors to the site and the types of technology visitors uses. This information includes the Internet domain (e.g., "aol.com"), IP address, browser type and operating system, the date and time you accessed the site and the pages you visited.
