NFIB Honors Radanovich As Guardian of Small Business
10/19/06

WASHINGTON – Congressman George Radanovich (R-Mariposa) has been honored by the National Federal of Independent Business as a Guardian of Small Business for his outstanding voting record on behalf of America’s small-business owners.

NFIB President and CEO Todd Stottlemyer praised Congressman Radanovich for his 100 percent NFIB voting record.

“Small-business owners pay close attention to how their lawmakers vote on the issues affecting their businesses and employees and stand by them,” Stottlemyer said.  “The record shows that Congressman Radanovich is a true champion of small business, having stood strong on the key small-business votes in the 109th Congress.  This award reflects our members’ appreciation for supporting the NFIB pro-growth agenda for small business.”

“Small businesses truly are the backbone of our economy, and it’s important that we in Congress support their pro-growth agenda,” Congressman Radanovich said in receiving the award from local NFIB representative Gary Honeycutt in Fresno.  “I have been honored to fight for the interests of small businesses throughout my 12 years in Congress.”

NFIB’s voting record tallies 14 key small-business votes in the U.S. House of Representatives taking during the 2004 and 2005 sessions. The issues considered by NFIB include tax relief, affordable health care, liability reform, and regulatory reform.

NFIB is the nation’s leading small-business advocacy association.
