Veterans
Having been born and raised on the grounds of a Department of Veterans Affairs facility, I strongly believe that Congress has a special obligation to protect the interests of our nation's veterans. With over 1.2 million veterans living in Pennsylvania, and millions more throughout our nation, I remain committed to ensuring that our veterans receive the benefits entitled to them. I value the sacrifices of the men and women who proudly served in our military. The United States should be proud of our veterans and commemorate their sacrifices with the respect that they have earned. I believe that service to our country has entitled veterans to unique benefits that are available to no other single group of Americans. The care and medical treatment of our nation's veterans and their families and the efforts to improve their healthcare delivery system remain very important to me.
