    Following morning business, the Senate will resume consideration of H.R. 5684, the US – Oman Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act until noon. There will be 10 minutes under the control of Senator Dorgan, 10 minutes under the control of Senator Conrad, and 10 minutes equally divided between the Chairman and Ranking Member. The remaining time will be equally divided. At noon, a vote on passage of H.R. 5684 will occur.



    The Senate will recess from 12:30 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. for the weekly policy luncheons.

    ***Under a consent agreement, the Senate began consideration of H.R. 5684, the US – Oman Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act, on Friday. The agreement called for 3 hours of debate to be consumed on Friday, September 15th and Monday, September 18th, with 2 hours under the control of the Minority and 1 hour under the control of the Majority. Further, on Tuesday, September 19th, 2006, there will be 10 minutes under the control of Senator Dorgan, 10 minutes under the control of Senator Conrad, and 10 minutes equally divided between the Chairman and Ranking Member, followed by a vote on passage of H.R. 5864.***
