Congressman Geoff Davis presents a check for $94,430 in USDA grant funds to the community of Concord in western Lewis County to bring broadband Internet service to the area. Congressman Davis was recently invited to speak to the Navy JROTC class at Pendleton County High School in Falmouth. He spoke briefly on his experiences in the Army and answered questions about the war on terrorism and the application process for the U.S. military academies.

On October 12th, Congressman Davis visited St. Joseph's Elementary School in Crescent Springs, which was recently recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. In recognition of that achievement, Congressman Davis presented them with a flag that has been flown over the U.S. Capitol in Washington.

October’s congressional recess got off to a great start this year with a visit from a delegation of Delta Air Lines employees. This year’s pension reform package, which helped secure their pensions and those of thousands of other Delta employees, was passed by Congress this year.
