Senator Saxby Chambliss is the host of an informational public access show called The Capitol Report. The show is aired across Georgia on local channels.
During the show Saxby interviews Senators, members of the President's Cabinet, and Georgians from a wide range of backgrounds who can give insight into the important issues facing our nation and state today, including the latest on Iraq, congressional efforts to reform the current federal tax code, agriculture measures, the need to act on President Bush's judicial nominees, the Base Realignment and Closure round and many other important issues.
"I believe this public affairs program is an excellent opportunity to directly share information with Georgians and keep our citizens informed about issues pending before the United States Senate. Additionally, because the Capitol Report is part of my official responsibility as a United States senator, it is in no way affiliated with any political organization or campaign," said Chambliss.
