Get Cargo Security Updates

We did it! On September 14th the U.S. Senate passed Senator Murray’s landmark cargo security bill.

“Today we took a huge step to protect our ports, keep terrorists out, and keep our economy moving forward. It's taken five years, but we've finally passed a compressive security system that will push the borders out so that we stop dangerous cargo before it ever sets sail for an American port.” - Senator Murray

The Murray-Collins bill will raise security standards for all cargo, invest in port security, track and monitor cargo (to prevent tampering), and minimize the economic impact of a terrorist attack. - More more
