Service Academy Nominations

Congressman Thompson has the ability to nominate constituents from his district for entrance into one of the United States Military Academy Services.

All potential appointees will be interviewed and have their files reviewed by a committee of veterans representing the armed forces in the district. After a congressional nomination is made, it’s then up to the individual academies to make their final decision.

High school seniors or unmarried high school graduates age 22 year or younger can request a nomination to one of our nation's service academies by submitting a letter of interest to the Napa District Office or by calling (707) 226-9898.
