Craig Blasts Supervalu Decision

"Supervalu should open their eyes and follow the leaders back to Idaho."

BOISE, Idaho- Idaho Senator Larry Craig criticized Supervalu's announcement today that it is moving 400 jobs out of Idaho:

"I am angered and frustrated at today's news that Supervalu is moving 400 jobs out of Idaho.
"As Supervalu continues to do business in Idaho, I trust they will realize that Idaho has the best employees and the best business climate in the country. I will work with Supervalu to find ways to expand their future presence in our state.
"It is important to note that Idaho remains one of the hottest job markets in the country. We are at full employment as we enjoy a record-breaking 3.3% unemployment. There are many good reasons why companies and their employees want to locate in our state, and Supervalu should open their eyes and follow the leaders back to Idaho."
