April 21--At a ceremony in Perryville, Senator Lincoln helps pay tribute to the brave and honorable service of U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Harold George Bennett, over forty years after his capture and killing in Vietnam as the first American prisoner of war to be executed by the Viet Cong. Lincoln helps present Sgt. Bennett's military medals to his surviving siblings.
