CONGRESSIONAL ART COMPETITION

"Artistic Discovery" is the annual nationwide Congressional High School Art Competition initiated by Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Each Congressional District hosts its own competition.

In the spring of each year, the 23rd District Congressional Art Competition is open to all high school students residing in the 23rd District.

Artwork is due to Congressman Bonilla's San Antonio office by the first of May. Art should be sent to the following address:

Office of Representative Henry Bonilla
Attn: Congressional Art Competition
11120 Wurzbach
Suite 300
San Antonio, TX 78230

Artwork is judged by a panel of people selected from the art community. The winning work of art will be sent to Washington D.C. for display in the U.S. Capitol alongside winning artwork from across the country. Additionally, the first place winner will receive one year's tuition to the Savannah College of Art and Design.

If you have any questions regarding the art competition, please contact Gabe Lozano in Congressman Bonilla's San Antonio district office at 210-697-9055.
