Welcome to the Veterans’ Affairs Committee website!

If you are visiting this website, there is a good possibility that you are a veteran, and if so, thank you for your service!  

This Committee reviews programs and agencies for veterans, examines current laws impacting veterans, and develops legislation to improve existing laws concerning veterans. We also hold confirmation hearings on those nominated by the President to fill positions within the Department of Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
