Internships Internships are an excellent opportunity for students and recent college graduates to gain valuable work experience and obtain first-hand knowledge of Congress. I offer internship opportunities in my El Monte, East Los Angeles, and Washington offices. Responsibilities are largely administrative and include assisting constituents, opening mail, and working on special projects. Intern applicants should be professional, courteous, well-organized, and possess strong written and oral communications skills.
