Congressional Art Competition Each year my office participates in "An Artistic Discovery," the annual art competition conducted by Members of Congress for high school students across the country. This contest provides Members and the public an opportunity to encourage and recognize the rich artistic talents of young high school students. The winning piece from each district, including California’s 32nd Congressional District, will be displayed as part of a year-long national exhibition in the Cannon Tunnel, a pedestrian walkway leading to the United States Capitol. The winning artist and a guest will be flown to Washington, D.C., to attend the unveiling reception.
