I am proud to serve as Chair of the Democratic Women’s Working Group (DWWG). The DWWG is comprised of the 46 Democratic women Members of Congress and works to support policies that promote equality and opportunity for all women. For more information please visit the DWWG website.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus
I am a member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) and serve as Chair of the Caucus’ Task Force on Health. The CHC is comprised of 21 Members of Congress and is dedicated to voicing and advancing, through the legislative process, issues affecting Hispanics in the United States.

As Chair of the Health Task Force, I spearhead annual summits across the country to inform the public about racial and ethnic health disparities and efforts to eliminate them.

Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus
I am a member of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC), which is comprised of members of Congress (both the House and Senate) who have strong interests in promoting Asian Pacific American (APA) issues and advocating the concerns of APAs. The 32nd Congressional District is home to one of the largest APA populations in the country.
