Environment
I believe in the wise stewardship of our natural resources, and I am a staunch supporter of efforts to increase environmental protection. I am gravely concerned about the Bush administration's efforts to revise our clean air and water standards, undermine roadless area protections, and push for a national energy policy that limits serious conservation and renewable energy provisions. I will continue working with my colleagues in Congress to resist attempts to undercut critical environmental laws.
