Unclaimed IRS
Refund Checks
You can check this
list Central Valley
residents who have unclaimed checks from the IRS waiting for them. If you believe you are missing a check, or you
find your name on the list, please call the IRS toll-free
assistance line at 1-800-829-1040. Please note that
this list was released in October of 2001. Part of the IRS process for
finding the owners of these checks is to match Social
Security Numbers with newly filed tax returns, so many of these checks
could have been delivered if the taxpayer filed a federal tax return in
April 2002 with more current information.
