Health Care Help Line
Mark's dedicated staff care passionately about helping Minnesotans to secure proper payment from their health insurers. Toward that goal, in 2000 he established his Health Care Help Line, whose staff will advocate for you in obtaining insurance coverage for care that is contractually due.

Federal Agency Assistance
Mark is happy to assist Minnesotans who have difficulty in their interactions with federal government agencies. Whether it is the IRS, the Social Security Administration, or other federal agency, his staff can help you understand your rights and responsibilities relative to various federal programs and help you resolve a problem you may have with a federal agency.

Federal Grants
Mark is committed to helping Minnesotans to understand the federal grant, loan, and contracting process and to assist them in locating federal funding. This section contains important information to help you find the programs and resources that might benefit your community or organization.

Washington, D.C., Tours
Mark encourages Minnesotans visiting Washington, D.C., to call his office for assistance in arranging tours of the U.S. Capitol Building and other points of interest.

Office Internships
Mark's Washington and Fort Snelling Offices offer internship opportunities year-round for qualified students interested in learning and participating in the day-to-day functioning of the United States Senate. Full-time or part-time positions are available.
