Internships

Since being elected to serve in the United States House of Representatives on November 3, 1992, Congressman King has been contacted by thousands of highly qualified applicants for a very limited number of internship openings each year. For this reason, Rep. King prefers to limit internship positions to those constituents who reside in the Third Congressional District .


Internships are available in Congressman King's Washington, D.C. office, as well as his office in Massapequa Park. If you are interested in applying for either a Washington, D.C. or Massapequa Park internship please mail the following to the appropriate address below:

As you know, there is no stipend for these positions and you are responsible for your own lodging. In addition, you must also make arrangements with your school to receive appropriate credit for your internship. Congressman King's staff will work with you to ensure that your duties meet the necessary credit requirements.
