An integral part of Congressman Pascrell’s efforts to inform his constituents about his work both in Washington and at home is “To The Point,” his monthly cable show. On the program, the Congressman discusses important issues facing the people he represents with a wide range of guests. Topics explored on recent installments of “To The Point” include terrorism preparedness, homeland security, domestic gun control, and prescription drug coverage.
This Month on "To the Point"
On this latest edition of “To the Point” it is my honor to be joined by Congressman Jack Murtha to discuss the controversial War in Iraq.
Congressman Jack Murtha is a 37 year veteran of the Marine Corps and the Ranking Democratic Member on the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee.
Congressman Murtha has served in Congress for 32 years, advised Presidents of both parties on military and defense, and remains one of the most effective advocates for national defense in America.
In November of 2005 Congressman Murtha made headlines internationally when he introduced legislation in the House of Representatives that called for our troops in Iraq to be redeployed at the earliest practicable date.
