In today’s ever changing environment, it is important that parents take an active role in raising their children. As a parent and grandparent, I know that raising children is the most challenging job one could ever have. It is, however, also the most rewarding. As your member of Congress, I work diligently every day to make parents’ jobs a bit easier. I support federal legislation and programs that provide parents with tools to keep their children safe, healthy, and moving up in the world. Children are the most important investment we can make to secure a peaceful and prosperous nation for our future.
