THE ONLINE PETITION TO
KEEP THE SECURITY IN SOCIAL SECURITY

If you would like to know more about how I stand on Social Security, please click here.

Please join me by signing this petition so I can tell President Bush and Congress, on your behalf, that privatization is not the answer.

Social Security is a great American success story that must be protected. Privatizing Social Security will undermine the economy and make Social Security less secure by slashing benefits and drastically increasing the national debt. According to the Center for Economic and Policy Research, the average retiree is expected to lose more than $152,000 in benefits over the course of a 20-year retirement if the President's plan is enacted.

I would like to join Senator Johnson in opposing efforts to privatize Social Security.

Sincerely,
