CONGRESSMAN DREIER HOSTS CONSUMER RIGHTS INFORMATION EVENT

Congressman David Dreier invites local residents to attend the Consumer Rights Information event. The event is being presented in conjunction with the City of San Dimas annual Family Festival. This event will be held on Saturday, March 27th at the San Dimas Civic Center Park, 245 East Bonita Avenue, San Dimas from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m..

Representatives from the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer Affairs, Federal Trade Commission, and Consumer Product Safety Commission will be in attendance. This event is designed to provide valuable information to area residents regarding such issues as: fraud, identity theft, telemarketing, dispute resolution, fair apartment/home rental practices, referral for credit repair counseling, consumer/household product safety and other consumer concerns.

Included in the day’s festivities are an Arts & Crafts Fair, a Safety Fair, a Child Care Fair, entertainment, food court, Karate tournament and children’s rides and games. The festival is open 9:30am to 3:00pm.
