| | Medicare Reform | | | | All seniors should receive adequate and affordable prescription drug coverage. Medicare has provided important services to millions of Americans since enactment in 1965.
Medicare reform was one of Congress' top priorities during the 108th Session. The Medicare Modernization Act of 2003 strengthens and modernizes Medicare to better help seniors today, as well as meet the health care needs of generations to come.
The addition of the Medicare Part D program is the largest change to Medicare in 40 years. With a program of this size, there will need to be adjustments. I look forward to seeking sloutions so that all Seniors have access to affordable health care services.
