The Subcommittee on Prevention of Nuclear and Biological Attack will hold a
hearing to examine the role of local law enforcement in preventing acts of terrorism. The
Subcommittee will hear from police leaders from several major cities that have been targeted
by terrorists, including Miami and London. The witnesses will explore local strategies to
counter threats of terrorism.
