Here are some answers to frequently asked questions:

What is the easiest way to navigate the city?

  • The Washington Metrorail System is a simple and cost-effective way to navigate the city. Information about passes, maps, and points of interest are on this website. My office will be happy to send you a complimentary map that includes a map of the metrorail system to help you get around the city.

  • This is an interactive map with descriptions of all of the popular tourist attractions and directions to each of them.

  • If you find that you are too tired at the end of the day to walk or take the "metro", there are many cabs that can take you where you need to go. The city has designated "zones" that keep the prices reasonable.

  • Driving and parking in the city tends to be stressful if you are not familiar with the city. My office will be happy to send you a complimentary map and give you tips about driving around Washington.
