The Third District is home of the world famous Outer Banks which include Cape Hatteras, Kill Devil Hills, Duck Island, and the home of the world's first airplane flight, Kitty Hawk. All year long there are numerous special events that take place in Eastern North Carolina. The counties that compose Eastern North Carolina are full of history, happenings and just plain good times.
