an American flag that has flown over the U.S. Capitol.
Flags are flown over the Capitol building every day (weather permitting)
except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
If you would like a flag flown on a particular day for a special
person, please print and fill out our flag
request form and mail it (along with indicated payment) to
my office in Washington, D.C.
