DELEGATION ANNOUNCES GRANTS AND CONTRACTS TO ALASKA PROGRAMS

Washington, D.C. – The Alaska Congressional Delegation today announced that grants and contracts totaling over $33 million were awarded to Alaska groups, communities and programs.

Department of Defense (Office of the Secretary of Army)

$11,701,882 Contract to Alutiiq Global Solutions, LLC of Anchorage, AK for design site preparations and installation of buildings at Fort Lewis, Washington.

$11,237,842 Contract to the Chugach Industries, Incorporated of Anchorage, AK for the design and placement of overhead electrical distribution systems at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi.

$10,161,606 Contract to Bristol Construction Services, LLC of Anchorage, AK for barracks upgrade and renovation at Fort Lewis, Washington.

$5,000 Contract to the Chugach Industries, Incorporated for miscellaneous operation and maintenance support at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi.

Department of Education

$825,247 Grant to the Southeast Regional Resource Center, Inc. of Juneau, AK, for its Parental Information and Resources Centers Program.

Department of Commerce

$84,952 Grant to the Alaska Public Telecommunications, Inc. of Anchorage, AK to continue the digital conversion of the television station and improve the digital interface of the public radio network.

$48,712 to the Alaska Public Telecommunications, Inc. of Anchorage, AK to purchase stand by generator equipment for the Alaska Public Radio Network.

 

Department of Health and Human Services

$100,000 Grant to the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium of Sitka, AK for its Public Health Nurse Project.

Social Security Administration

$72,709 Grant to the University of Alaska Anchorage, AK for its SSA Work Incentives Planning and Assistance Program.
