District Director - Carol Halper manages the operations of Congressman Dent's local constituent services. Carol has worked for Congressman Dent for nine years, most recently as his chief of staff for his state Senate office. Carol worked as a medical technologist in Allentown and a youth and camp director with the Allentown Jewish Community Center. Carol is a graduate of Kutztown University and resides in Allentown.

Legislative Director and General Counsel - Peter Muhlenberg Richards is senior advisor on numerous policy matters for the Congressman. Pete was a Judge Advocate General Officer with the U.S. Navy (1984-87), Assistant District Attorney, Lehigh County (PA) (1988-1990), Deputy County Solicitor, Lehigh County (PA) (1990-91), and most recently Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney, Virginia Beach, VA. A native of Allentown , Pete is a graduate of William Allen High School and holds a B.A. from the College of William and Mary, a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and M.Sc. from London School of Economics.

Press Secretary - Gregg W. Bortz manages media relations and develops public communications for the Congressman. Gregg worked as a newspaper journalist, advertising copywriter, Web content editor, and television production assistant. Before joining the Congressman's staff in January 2005, Bortz was a reporter with the Express-Times of Easton , Pa. Gregg is a graduate of Emmaus High School and Pennsylvania State University , resides in Hanover Township , Northampton County .
