The White House
Constituents interested in requesting a White House tour should contact our Washington office at least six months in advance, in accordance with White House policy. Our office can file a request with the White House as late as four months before the tour. However, the earlier you contact my office to file a White House tour request, the more likely your tour will be scheduled. For holidays and peak tour season times, we suggest constituents request a tour as early as possible. The White House recieves over 1,000 tour requests a day and only has the capacity to accept 20 percent of all requests.
Groups of 10 or more may request a White House tour. If you do not have a group of 10, we try to match guests in our district with others wanting to tour the White House.
Tours are offered Tuesday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and are scheduled on a first come-first served basis. The White House chooses the tour time on the date selected. The White House may deny a request due to the overwhelming number of requests the Visitor's Office receives.
To request a White House tour, you must provide my office with the following information:
- Full legal name, no initals are accepted
- Social Security Number
- Date of Birth
- Country of origin
- City and state of residency
- If a guest is not a citizen, please submit country of origin and a passport number in place of a social security number.
White House Garden Tour The Annual White House Fall Garden Tour will be held on Saturday, October 28 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday, October 29 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on the South Lawn.
