Tourist information
Senator Nelson's office may schedule tours for your party at the following Washington, D.C. attractions: U.S. Capitol Building, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, and the White House.
While every effort will be made to accommodate your tour request, our office respectfully request at least five weeks advance notice for arranging tours due to limited availability; for tours of the White House, ten weeks notice is preferred. To make reservations, please complete the online tour request form.

Time-designated tickets are required for tours led by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing staff and can be obtained at the Bureau each day at the 15th Street entrance.

Capitol Building
East Capitol and South Capitol streets
Guided tours, offered through the Capitol Visitor Center, are open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tickets are available, free of charge, beginning at 9 a.m. at the South Visitor Facility.

Coffee with Senator Nelson
Each Wednesday, when the U.S. Senate is in session, Senator Nelson and his staff meet with Florida constituents from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

Visitors may make advance arrangements to tour the eighth-floor Diplomatic Reception Rooms of the Department of State. Tours are available Monday through Friday at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.., by reservation only.

Holocaust Memorial Museum
14th Street and Independence Avenue Southwest
The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. No passes are required to enter the museum, special exhibitions, or the interactive learning center. Timed passes are required to visit the Permanent Exhibition and can be obtained at the museum each day.
