Congressman Pat Tiberi (R-Delaware County) has been honored for his consistent support of issues important to the small business community.
The National Federation of Independent Business named Tiberi the recipient of its “Guardian of Small Business” award for his voting record in the 2005-2006 session of Congress.
“Pat Tiberi is a true champion of small business,” said NFIB President and CEO Todd Stottlemyer. “This award reflects our members’ appreciation for supporting the NFIB pro-growth agenda for small business.”
Tiberi scored a perfect 100% on the NFIB’s scorecard of 14 key votes on issues ranging from health care to regulation to tax relief.
“We all know that small business is the engine that drives our economy,” said Tiberi. “I’ll continue to do everything possible to ensure small businesses in Central Ohio can grow and prosper.”
