Nurse Advisory Committee

Senator Harkin is the only member of the Senate who has a Nurse Advisory Committee (NAC). The NAC was established by Senator Harkin to provide him guidance on current health care issues as well as to provide a basis of communication with nurses in Iowa. The NAC consists of nurses, certified nurse assistants, certified registered nurses anesthetists and other groups.
