Hot Topic - Medicare Prescription Drug Assistance
For the first time ever, Medicare will provide beneficiaies with voluntary prescription drug coverage. Enrollment opens on November 15, 2005, and coverage begins January 1, 2006.
The first enrollment period is from November 15, 2005 to May 15, 2006. In most cases, if you have not joined by May 15, 2006, and currently do not have a drug plan that covers at least as much as standard Medicare prescription drug coverage, the offer will be available again on November 15, 2006.
