Federal law prohibits housing discrimination based on a citizen’s race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, or family status. At the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development web page, you will find an online fair housing complaint form.

HUD provides a web page with many great features. At this site you are able to research the Notices of Funding Availability (NOFAs) that are currently available, how to apply for the funds, and any deadline dates.

Also available are listings of HUD homes for sale, along with information regarding federal mortgage programs and local home buying programs.

Example of a HUD inquiry Senator Kyl can make on behalf of constituents:

“I have a complaint about my Section 8 housing, but no one at HUD will look into it.”

Senator Kyl can forward your complaint to the agency for its review and response.
