II am always happy to
try to assist my constituents when they are running into problems
dealing with a federal agency. Some examples would be Social Security
benefits, veterans’ benefits, military service problems and
workers’
compensation claims. You may contact any of my state
offices or my Washington office to
request assistance. It is always helpful if you have all your information
and documents close at hand when you contact us. In most cases,
we will need your signed authorization in order to obtain information
on your case from the federal agency involved. You can get a copy
of the privacy release from any one of my state offices or you can
complete and print the release here. |

Congressional internships
offer students a unique opportunity to observe and participate in
the workings of the United States Senate. Interns carry out a variety
of responsibilities, such as opening and sorting mail, answering calls
from constituents, running errands, or working in the press office.
They also have the opportunity to write, research, attend committee
hearings, and answer correspondence.
If you are interested in pursuing an internship in my office, please
complete an internship
application and submit a resume and cover letter. Preference will
be given to New Hampshire students who have completed at least their
sophomore year of college. |
