Piatt DORGAN LAUNCHES PODCAST PAGE ON HIS SENATE WEB SITEPodcasts Offer New Tools to Communicate with North Dakotans:(WASHINGTON, D.C.) --- U.S. Senator Byron Dorgan (D-ND) Monday launched a new Web page containing podcasts on his official U.S. Senate Web site. Dorgan says that the audio files, known as podcasts, will allow North Dakotans to access his speeches in the Senate through the Internet. “Podcasts offer dynamic technology to help me connect with North Dakotans and people from across the country,” said Dorgan. “I am pleased to be able to make this information available to North Dakotans.” New podcasts will be added every week with current speeches and statements on various issues including the war in Iraq, healthcare and trade. These podcasts can be downloaded and listened to either on a computer or a portable media device, and are accessible at www.dorgan.senate.gov/newsroom/podcasts/.
