I believe very strongly that internships should be a positive experience for both the office and the intern. As such, you will NOT just be doing paper work. Interns in my office can expect to do a combination of clerical, administrative, legislative, and press work. Interns who work for academic credit can expect to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, while interns who are not working for credit may have more flexible schedules.
