California Offices

San Francisco -- Los Angeles -- San Diego -- Fresno

Offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego and Fresno are open to serve you and to answer any questions you may have about the United States Senate or the federal government.  You can obtain a copy of legislation currently before the Senate, let me know about an upcoming event in the community, or voice your concerns on a particular issue by contacting an office directly.

Field representatives -- Each county in the state is monitored by at least one field representative. This staff member is responsible for working with local officials to gather input about local issues and to make sure our office responds to the concerns. The field representatives attend meetings and public events in the district, work with other branches of the federal government, and spend a good deal of their time in the counties they monitor.

Caseworkers -- Many constituents contact our office when they have a problem with an agency of the federal government -- such as not receiving a Social Security check, a dispute with the Internal Revenue Service, or a problem with their Veterans benefits. Seven caseworkers are assigned to more than 44 different federal agencies to try to solve problems brought to our attention. If you have a problem with a federal agency, please contact us and we'll try to help. Casework Services provides more information about how to request assistance.

The state offices play a key role in gathering input on issues affecting our state. For that reason, calling or writing to the office nearest you is a wonderful way to express your thoughts and views. You can personally visit one of the offices between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or you can call during that time as well. We are here to serve you. Please give us a call.
