Every year I receive numerous requests from Alaskans for federal assistance for programs or projects to be funded in the annual
appropriations bills. Such funding can typically only go to state or local governmental entities or non-profit organizations. Because of
fiscal constraints, it is not possible to grant each request and there is no guarantee your project request will receive funding even if you
received funding in previous years. To ensure your project meets federal and state priorities, only those projects that provide a detailed
project description, justification, and budget outline will receive consideration for funding through the appropriations process.
Funding requests are due no later than March 1 of each calendar year. Please click here to
download the appropriations request form for Fiscal
Year 2007. Please email your completed form to: requests@murkowski.senate.gov
or fax it to: (202) 224-5301. You may also mail the form to:
Senator Lisa Murkowski
Hart 709
U.S. Senate
Washington, DC 20510
If you choose to mail the form, please submit your request at least 2-3 weeks in advance of the March 1 deadline as U.S.
Senate mail screening procedures often delay mail delivery.
