More than
200 farmers, ranchers and policy leaders, from across the country
gathered in Fargo on October 30 and 31, to take part in Senator
Conrad's national conference on the future of agriculture in the
United States. Senator Conrad and former House Agriculture Committee
Chairman Larry Combest talked about new trade threats, agricultural
budget cuts and the challenges and opportunities facing the next
farm bill.
